Kellie M. Martin, a native of the United States is an American television and film actress. She is best known for her role as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher as well as Lucy Knight on the series ER. She is also known as the star of the Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin's acting career started at age seven when her aunt, an ex-nanny who looked after her children Michael Landon, helped secure an appearance as a character in the 1982 film 'Father Murphy.' When she graduated from Yale University she began to become serious about acting and landed roles on the small screen and big. Martin has also been as a dancer and photographer. Two daughters are hers and a son, she is also the Lupus representative and promotes awareness about the condition daily since the loss of her sister at age 19.
